Continuous Flow Confetti Gerb Instructions

3” or 6” Continuous Flow GERB Launcher

CONFETTI CANNON INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION

IMPORTANT - You need to rent 2 Liquid siphon (Dip Tube) Co2 tanks to use with each Gerb in your hometown.  NOTE – Be sure your gas supplier includes washers with the Co2 tanks.

20 lb. Tank will give you an estimated 20 – 30 seconds of airflow

50 lb. Tank will give you an estimated 60-80 seconds of airflow

75 lb. Tank will give you an estimated 100-120 seconds of airflow

1. Attach each hose to the Co2 tank.  Make sure the little washer is inside the brass fitting at the end of the long hose, which connects to the Co2 tank.

2. Attach the Venturi horn assembly to the confetti hopper with the rods provided.  The black flap at the top and the bottom of the horn assembly stays out of the hopper.  Line up the rods so the horn shoots at the angle you prefer.  Slide the rods into the holes and attach the small metal pins into the end of the rods.

3. Attach the remaining ends of the hoses to the horns by screwing them on.  Make sure all the fittings are tight.

4. Load several hand fills of confetti into the confetti hopper (large square box).  “Fluff” the confetti as you load the hopper, it must be loose in the hopper.  Do Not “Pack” or overload the hopper or it will not work properly.

5. Secure the hopper/horn assembly down.  The recoil of the blast can tip the unit over.  Sandbags, stage weights, straps or clamps can be used for this purpose.

6. Make sure the hose valve is in the OFF or CLOSED position.  When you are ready to shoot the confetti slowly open the Co2 tank valves completely. Once it is open begin throwing hand fills of confetti into the hopper as needed.  You can turn the Co2 on and off to make the effect last longer but you need to wait in between turning it on and off so the Co2 doesn’t freeze up.

Take care that no unauthorized personnel has access to the charged system.  When you open the hose valve, confetti will fly!
